dc.description.abstract | The crystallization behavior of certain fatty acid and resin acid mixtures was studied. The mixtures were prepared in a reactor and the mixing conditions were adjusted to simulate some processes common in industry. The prepared mixtures were characterized by using GC-FID device and the crystallization behavior was studied using Cloudpoint and DSC analysis. The morphology of obtained crystals was studied by SEM. The aim of the work was to investigate the effect of different parameters on crystallization behavior and crystal formation in fatty acid/resin acid mixtures. | - |
